Wine & Dine at Sexy Mamma Love Spaghetti | Nottingham

This sexy mamma loves me some spaghetti! Nothin' better than some pasta on a week day. Just around the corner from our flat, me and Oli tried the Sexy Mamma Love Spaghetti.This cute little restaurant in Hockley has blown up recently, being completely packed every time I'm there. The waiters ended up setting new tables outside for the customers which I very much appreciated!What I really like about the place is how everything seems so spontaneous. You receive a  handwritten menu with the specials and are squeezed onto a very small table. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining! I love the atmosphere of the place, it feels more real than the fancy restaurants you can go to and spend your weeks wage on. It's lovely food at a great price with the perfect Italian atmosphere. For two meals and glass of wine we must have payed max £25. To top it all off, the waiters speak Italian, or at least sound like they do, which always makes a difference.Why go to Italy when you can try Italian food at Sexy Mamma Love Spaghetti!For the food, I had the prawn pasta when I went with Oli, which was super yummy and very filling. The deep dishes were very appreciated here! I also tried the risotto on a different occasion which was another fave! And it wouldn't be a wine and dine without the wine but I have to be honest here, I have no idea what it was called. It was the second least expensive one and I never tasted wine so good. It didn't have that bitter after taste which you can get a lot of the time. The dangerous type which you'll drink lots of because it tastes so nice without realising you're getting drunk.
