Milan Travel Diary

That's Paris, New York, London and now Milan. I can finally tick off the last major capital for fashion week. If only it was actually for fashion week.

Last week I travelled to Milan for a few days as part of my university course. It went alongside our new module which is all about innovation in the beauty industry. We visited the Intercos Group Manufacturer offices and factory which was a really insightful experience. It is a beauty product manufacturer which produces for brands such as Dior, Chanel and Christian Louboutin. We left with a goodie bag and I was very impressed. Just wish I knew what products I have, the ones we received are in unbranded packaging but I'm pretty sure there is a Dior lipgloss in there.

We also got two days of free time which involved a lot of shopping. Everything was just so cheap! I definitely treated myself too much but my excuse is that it was the first time in Milan. I also had my 21st birthday 2 days after coming back so it was a treat from me to me. We stopped by Tiffany and I made my first purchase (one of many in the future) on some lovely pearl studs. Don't regret one thing.

I also left the girls for a few hours to explore the La Triennale di Milano. There was Rick Owens exhibition on and I've always wanted to see what it was all about. Oli did beg me to go too though and take a picture of every single thing so that he could experience it too. I have a whole blog post dedicated to the exhibition which should be up in the next few weeks.

Thanks for reading, Dom x
