Glossybox Unboxing | May Box

Hello my lovelies!

I know, I'm late again. 2 weeks to precise, but it's okay I'm posting twice a week for a bit now to make up for it. I've officially finished uni for the summer and I've got a lot of content I want to share. Look out because I'm planning a giveaway soon so don't miss that, lots of really nice goodies in that!

For now this is what I got in the May box:

  • Scrub Love Active Charcoal Body Scrub
I have a confession. I'm really scared of scrubs. The idea of something scratching my skin just worries me.What if I get all red from it?! Anyhow, I gave it a go. I've only used it on my hands so far but I think I'll eventually try it on my body and maybe face. When my face gets all clogged up I'll give it a go. To start off I just want to say that this smells. Not really that pleasant either. I was really expecting some nice soothing smell but it smells a bit like dirt. On a more positive note, the moment I was washing it off I could feel my hands moisturized. It's like it had some oils in it. I was really impressed with that. It worked like a miracle, for that reason I'm excited to use this more often. Lastly I loved that it has a seal on it, keeps it hygienic and easy to pop in the shower.
  • Andmetics Brow Wax Strips
I tried it and it hurt. I'm not big on waxing. In fact I believe I've waxed maybe twice if that in my life. I'm just not that bothered about body hair. Nonetheless I tired this and it did it's job. I like how the strips were so nicely shaped to fit around my brows however it did hurt. I can still feel my brows tingling. I mean I liked trying this, however I'm still not that bothered about facial hair to go through the pain again.
  • Ruby Powder Blush in Coral
I loved this! I'm normally not big on blush because I naturally blush a lot, however since I got my Milani blush a few months ago I've been using it a lot more. I still only own about 3 blushes but I really liked this shade. Through the past month I've been wearing this blush at least a couple of times a week. It's such an easy colour to wear. I say that, most people think that coral is just not their shade and is hard to pull off, however its such a nice colour to throw on and look effortlessly done. It's one of those things where you'll look at a person for a while trying to figure out if they've done something different today. I really liked that with this one you could build up the pigmentation. Go for a subtle look or something more striking. I've been using this shade to contour a little. Who needs a bronzer, use blush!
  • Dr. PawPaw Original Balm
This one is another one which I've been meaning to try for a while. Maybe like a year ago I heard of this product through the Youtuber LaMadelynn and was so persuaded. I really like these multi purpose products as there's always something wrong with me. Whether its dry knuckles or dry ends, this products has been at the bottom of my bag everyday. Its such a moisturizing balm, I use it on my lips at least once a day and it's made them so soft. I use a lot of liquid lipsticks so my lips haven't been in the best shape.
  • Caudalie Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet
I've been running out of face moisturisers, so recently I've been putting body butters on my face but they're normally so heavy on your face. I needed something lightweight and this little fella has been wonderful. The consistency kinda scared me. It looked a bit like it was off because of the lumps but I guess you can expect that from a sorbet moisturizer. Just a weird thought. The smell was also out of this world! I've been putting this on every morning for a couple of days now and my face has been baby soft.

Thanks for reading, see you on friday, Dom x
