Pink Nudes Summer Look | Maybelline Blushed Nudes

Hello my lovelies!
Summer is coming to an end, so I'm trying to embrace it as much as I can before it finishes. Today I've got a pink nudes summer look using, as the tittle suggests, pink shades to create a nice feminine summer look. Now I've been wearing this look quite a bit recently. I am your typical brown shades girl on a day to day basis, but recently I've been pushing myself to try different looks and that's pink, blue or even green eye looks.

Recently I bought the Maybelline Blushed Nudes palette and today I've created a look using just that. Well, that and a bunch of other things to complete the look.

To start off I used the NYX Angel Veil primer to get that flawless airbrushed effect. I got this recently and I honestly think it makes your pores look smaller unlike the Rimmel Lasting Finish primer (review from a while ago) which is what I used before.

I then applied my foundation, Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in the shade Vanilla. This foundation is sooo good! Its the only one that I've found to be a perfect match for me. It's super lightweight but it also has buildable coverage. After that I apply my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer under my eyes, on the tip of my nose, inner forehead, cupids bow and just under my lower lip to get a natural glow. Once that's blended I do some contouring. Now because it's Summer and the weather is warmer, I've been using more cream products because lets face it, y'all gonna sweat anyway so you might as well make it intentional. I'm using the Maybelline Fit Me foundation (or tester of it) in the shade 250 Sun Beige which is clearly a lot darker than my skin colour. I put little dabs of it on my cheekbones and my outer forehead then blend with a beauty blender. To set everything I'm using the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed powder under my eyes and the T zone. Finally to bring some glow to the look I'm using the Makeup Revolution highlighter in the shade Golden Lights just on top of my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, cupids bow and just under my bottom lip.

I then do my brows and I've been using the Naked 2 palette's shade Tease as it's not so in your face and still makes my brows look natural.

This is where it gets hard. To set my eye I'm using the lightest shade on the top left row of the palette all over the lid. The shade is slightly shimmery so it gives it a nice glow. After that I go in with the shade just below it in the crease. Finally I'm using the baby pink shade 3rd from the right on the top row all over the lid and just along the bottom outer corner of my eye. Now to highlight the brow bone I'm mixing the first and second shades from the top row. To bring out the pink even more I'm going over the lid with the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadow in the shade Pink Gold. Finally to finish the look I pop some mascara on and I'm using the Maybelline Falsies Push Up Drama.

To line my lips I'm using the Givenchy Lip liner Pencil and I'm not exactly sure which shade it is but it's a slightly peachy shade. It's a little bolder than the lipstick I'm using but it gives them a nice ombre effect and makes them look that little bigger. For the lippy I'm using the Maybelline Colour Sensational in the shade Rosewood Pearl. This has been my everyday lippy since I've purchased it. Its so flattering because it gives a plumping effect (without the tingle) and smells so wonderful.

So that's the finished look, I hope you guys like it, thanks for reading.

Dom xx
