Pumpkin Spiced Hot Chocolate

Hello my lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween. What did you do? I went to town and I guess it was fun. I'm not big on going out anyhow but I guess being there with close friends made it better. We also didn't have any tickets to any of the clubs so by the end of the night we just ended up in McDonald's.
Anyhow this post is about pumpkin spiced hot chocolates so let's begin.


What you'll need: 
  • Whole pumpkin (can be small)
  • Seasoning - nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and vanilla flavouring 
  • Milk

 Start of by taking all the seeds out of the pumpkin


 Cut the pumpkin in half then into smaller pieces.

Boil the pumpkin until the flesh is soft
Scoop the flesh off the skin 

Place in a sauce pan and mash
In a little bowl and mix a teaspoon of ground nutmeg, ginger, cloves and cinnamon (although i recommend a little extra cinnamon)
In a bowl, put a teaspoon of the mixed seasonings and add half a teaspoon of vanilla flavouring.
Add three tablespoons of the pumpkin puree
Add a glass of milk and mix well
Add straight to the mug by siving the mixture. Fill about a quarter of the mug with the mixture and fill the rest with milk. 
Don't forget to add some cocoa powder and mix well. 
Voila! You have a pumpkin spiced hot chocolate. Enjoy!
